The state of Washington has just passed a bill which was signed by the governor that will regulate the tattoo industry in our state.  What that means to the consumer is a standard in the services provided to them.  This bill will put into law the requirements for sanitation, licensing and accountability for businesses that do tattooing, permanent makeup and piercing.
